About ME

I'm Charlie. I'm an artist living in Somerset with my husband and two children. 

For as long as I can remember, I always loved art. Growing up, it didn't take me long to realise that a career in art was perfect for me and after completing my degree in Textile design at Buckinghamshire University, I gave-in to the lure of the bright lights and got my first job in a London-based design studio.

I enjoyed my time with the team in London but when the chance came to go freelance, I grabbed it and never looked back. My client list soon grew to span the globe from the USA to Australia, providing artwork and designs to the worlds of interiors and fashion.

Sometime later, my love of the countryside became too strong and I moved to Somerset, working in a textile design studio. My family came next which demanded that I give myself a break from art.

Now that my children are a little older, I have started concentrating on new abstract art projects using acrylic, ink and gold leaf on canvas. Using nature, architecture and travel as my inspiration, I am creating unique work in my home studio for private clients and interior designers alike.
